Javier: Gian, ¿de dónde eres?.
Gian: Nací en Génova (Italia) hace 28 años. Llegué a España con mi familia hace 10 años. Vinimos buscando una mejora social en general, por entonces la crisis afectaba gravemente a la economía de mi País. El primer sitio al que llegamos fue Barcelona, allí estuvimos viviendo durante 5 años, después decidimos venir a Málaga, principalmente por el clima y la gente que es más cercana. Somos casi 5000 italianos en Málaga.
J: ¿A qué te dedicas?.
G: Si te refieres a mi formación, dejé de estudiar cuando aún era muy joven, con 15 años empecé a trabajar en una carnicería. Hoy en día soy tatuador buscando empleo.
J: ¡Vaya! es un cambio significativo. ¿Cómo llegaste a ser tatuador?.
G: Una de mis pasiones es el dibujo, me ha gustado desde siempre e incluso empecé a estudiarlo, pero lo dejé. Estuve un tiempo trabajando en un estudio en Madrid, allí terminé de aprender a tatuar. Luego me compré mi propia máquina. Los tatuajes que ves en mi me los he hecho yo mismo.
J: Gian, háblame de tus metas, ¿tienes algún sueño que te gustaría que se cumpliera?.
G: Mi meta la tengo clara, me gustaría forma una familia y darles una estabilidad en todos los sentidos. No tengo sueños, me considero bastante realista.
J: ¿Qué es importante para ti en la vida?.
G: La familia en general, para mi la familia es el conjunto de todas las personas cercanas a mi vida. Son importantes por su apoyo, por su fuerza, la que me transmiten y me ayuda a seguir día a día.
J: Dime una frase que tenga sentido para ti.
G: Mi madre siempre me dice, 'Nunca dejes para mañana lo que puedas hacer hoy'.

Javier: Gian, where are you from?.
Gian: I was born in Génova (Italy) 28 years ago. I arrived in Spain with my family 10 years ago. We came looking for a social improvement in general, at that time the crisis seriously affected the economy of my country. The first place we came to was Barcelona, we lived there for 5 years, then decided to come to Malaga, mainly because of the weather and the people who are closest. We are almost 5000 Italians in Malaga.
J: What do you do?.
G: If you mean my training, I stopped studying when I was very young, at 15 I started working in a butcher shop. Today I'm a tattoo artist looking for a job.
J: Wow! Is a significant change. How did you become a tattoo artist?
G: One of my passions is drawing, I have always liked it and I even started to study it, but I left it. I spent some time working in a studio in Madrid, there I finished learning to tattoo. Then I bought my own machine. The tattoos you see on me have made them myself.
J: Gian, tell me about your goals, do you have a dream that you would like to see fulfilled ?.
G: My goal is clear, I would like to form a family and give them stability in every way. I don´t have dreams, I consider myself quite realistic.
J: What is important to you in life?.
G: The family in general, for me, the family is the set of all the people close to my life. They are important for their support, for their strength, which they transmit to me and helps me to continue day by day.
J: Tell me a phrase that makes sense to you.
G: My mother always tells me, 'Never leave for tomorrow what you can do today.'
