Mari Pepa y Currito

Llámame Mari Pepa que es como me conocen todos, el se llama Curro. Yo soy de Málaga y el es de Gambia aunque lleva 50 años aquí. ¿Como nos conocimos? yo soy la menor de 3 hermanas y era soltera, así que cuidaba de mi madre. Siempre me ha encantado el buen humor y los “Saladillos” me encanta bailar y por entonces iba al “Yoyi” que era una sala de baile. Un día fui con mis amigas, pero no me encontraba bien porque mi madre se había enfadado conmigo, decidí marcharme pronto y justo cuando me iba, mis amigas bromeando me dijeron, “mira, ahí va tu novio, si, ese morenito” y desde entonces llevamos 20 años juntos. Somos muy conocidos en Málaga, siempre nos vestimos de flamenco en feria y nos hacen muchas fotografías. #hfmalaga

You can call me Mari Pepa. Everybody calls me that way. He’s Curro. I’m from Málaga and He’s  from Gambia although he’s been living here for 50 years. How did we meet each other? I’m the youngest of 3 sisters and I was single, so I had to take care of my mother. I always loved “good sense of humor” and the “Saladillos”. I love to dance and in those days I used to go to the “Yoyi” (a dance hall). One day I went there with my friends, but I didn’t feel right because my mother was angry with me, so I decided to leave earlier and just when I was leaving the place, my friends were joking on me and they said “Look!, There goes your boyfriend!. Yes, that one, the "morenito"”. And since then we have been together for 20 years. We are really well known in Málaga. We always dress the flamenco suits in the Feria,  and the people take a lot of photos of us.
